To run SMS campaigns, click Campaigns in your sidebar then click the “+Campaign” button and select the SMS channel.
Note: You'll need a Sender ID before creating a campaign. If you haven't added a Sender ID, jump to the campaign settings section down below.
In the first section, enter your campaign’s name and select your Audience. Visit our Audience page to know more about Audience.
Next, select the type of message you want to send between transactional, promotional, or OTP, and choose the Sender ID.
After that, type your message in the given box. You can also enrich your message using smart links or use a template from your template list. Click here to learn how to add templates.
Note: The number of SMS characters determines the number of messages. One message is equal to 160 characters. For Unicode SMS, one message is equal to 70 characters. When you exceed even one character in the message, it will be considered as two messages.
Once you have typed your message, you can:
Schedule - Schedule your messages to be sent based on date, time, and time zone.
Split campaign - Split your campaigns based on contacts per batch and the time interval.
Send flash - Send your message as a flash message.
After filling in the campaign details, click Send Campaign to start the campaign.
Campaign Settings
From the Campaign Settings menu, you can manage Sender IDs and learn about the SMS pricing for different countries to run successful SMS campaigns.
To access Campaign Settings, click Campaigns in your sidebar and select the Settings tab. Here, under the SMS section, click the Sender ID option.
Next, Click “+ Add Sender ID “ and fill in the details.
Sender ID - Your unique sender ID
Route Name - Route Name is the type of connectivity that is assigned to your account. You can have multiple routes for different types of messages.
Country Select - Choose your country designated for the sender ID
How to check pricing for a country?
You can check the per SMS pricing for the country you want to run the SMS campaign for. To do that, go back to the Settings screen and select the Pricing option under SMS.
Here, you will get the information about route name, Country, currency, and the price per SMS.
