How to apply for Green Tick Verification on your own?
Navigate to your Facebook Business Setting --> WhatsApp Accounts --> WhatsApp Manager
On the left navigation, navigate to Account Tools --> Phone Numbers
Click on the "Settings" icon
Under Profile, click on "Submit Request" under "Official Business Account" section
Fill in the required details with press/media article links and Submit the request
Prerequisites for Green Tick Approval:
You must be using WhatsApp API Approved Business Account
You must enable 2-step Authentication for the number
Facebook Business Manager should be verified by Facebook
Display name should be approved by Facebook.
Must be a business (Individuals are not allowed as of now)
Recommended you are in Tier 2 (10k Messages/24 hours) or above messaging limit.
Must be a notable and reputed brand with a Good number of Press Media Articles that are featured on Google News
Will the Green Tick verification be guaranteed?
Please note WhatsApp Green Tick Verification is different from WhatsApp API Verification. A business may be approved for using WhatsApp APIs, but may not be approved for a Green Tick.
To be able to submit the Green Tick verification request, you’d have to fulfill all pre-requisites first.
WhatsApp typically grants Green Tick or an Official Business account to very limited and highly reputed businesses with a well-known, often searched brand or entity. This process is solely on WhatsApp, not Zixflow.
