Step 1 - Go to Inbox and click Enable Desktop Notifications.
Step 2 - Click allow in the Pop up of the browser.
Step 3 - Do a hard reload of the page.
Step 4 - Your notifications are enabled, you can test by sending a WhatsApp message.
Note :-
Notifications will be sent to the record owner. If the owner is not receiving notifications despite being the rightful owner, initiate a process reset.
Notifications function on three devices per user. If a fourth device is set up for notifications, the initial device that enabled notifications will be automatically removed.
Notifications operate within a single workspace, specifically the one currently logged in.
If notifications are activated for one workspace, and the user is in a different workspace, clicking on a received notification for the enabled workspace will not open it.
Presently, notifications are exclusively enabled for WhatsApp. We will extend this feature to encompass all upcoming events occurring in the inbox.
Enabling Browser Notifications
If you're a Windows (10 & 11) user:
Step 1 - Click on Start.
Step 2 - Open Settings.
Step 3 - Go to System.
Step 4 - Choose Notifications.
Step 5 - Expand the Notifications section.
Step 6 - Toggle notifications, banners, and sounds on or off for specific or all notification senders.
If you use a Mac:
Step 1 - Navigate to Launchpad.
Step 2 - Open System Preferences.
Step 3 - Select Notifications.
Step 4 - Choose your browser from the list.
Step 5 - Enable notifications.
Step 6 - Set "Show Preview" to "Always."
