Building a cadence in Zixflow is a quick and easy process. To begin with, click the Automation option in the sidebar and on the next screen, click the + Cadence button.
Next, you can create the cadence using three methods:
Prebuilt - Build a cadence using one of our templates
New - Create a cadence from scratch
Clone - Make a copy of one of the existing cadence
After that, give your cadence a name and add the steps. These steps are the channels you want to use to reach out to your audience. It can be Email, SMS, WhatsApp, or Tasks.
Next, set a schedule for your cadence, and set a Break-up rule. Break-up rules allow you to stop your cadences’ sequence if the actions you selected occurred. Know more about this by visiting our Schedule & Break-up Rules page.
After that, there are some general settings to better optimize your cadence. The general settings consist of:
Daily Subscribers Limit - In this field, you can put the maximum number of new subscribers that can be engaged within the cadence per day.
Priority within Cadence - There are three options available: first-step emails, follow-up emails, and equally divided. You can select one according to your preference. Generally, most people select the equally divided option.
Cadence Priority - In this field, you can select how much priority you want to give to your cadence. You can select between critical, high, medium, and low.
Share - In this field, you can share the access of the cadence with the people you want.
Exclusive Contacts - If you turn on this option, then the active subscribers of this cadence cannot be added to any other cadence until the completion of this cadence.
Once finished, click the Save button.
